HOTlanta

Second day of hiking, we hauled ass. We hike 8 miles in 2.5 hours and at points Steve was leading the way by running down the trail. What a guy. When we finished up the hike, Steve had some mean blisters on his heel. These things were gross, but he’s a trooper and he’ll be OK. Off to Atlanta, Joe’s turn to drive. It was a pretty easy drive. Nice scenery, and Atlanta itself is an awesome city. Everything seems new and clean. Our hostel was very nice. Good location, nice common area, pretty decent beds, and friendly staff. We had just enough time to shower and change (which felt great) before heading off to the Braves vs. Marlins game. Turner Field was pretty sweet and you were allowed to buy 2 beers per 1 ID, which was very convenient since our $6 seats were at the top row of the top section in the sun on a 95+ degree day. But the beer made it semi-bearable. I decided I officially hate the Braves tomahawk chant, but I was happy they won since that helps our Phils. After the game we got 1 drink at a tavern near the hostel and then crashed. Big day of driving to New Orleans tomorrow.
