Into the West

Steve was supposed to drive to Albuquerque, but since he had soo much fun dancing the night before, I took over his shift. The drive was amazing. Somehow in the middle of the desert, it was only 80-85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. We finally started seeing the landscape change to that of the stereotypical west, desert and mountains. Part way through the drive, I pulled over just so we could get out and actually take in what was going on. All of us are a little blown away that we are actually out here doing this, but every second is great. New Mexico is a beautiful state, and also very clean too. We are about to head out to see what the city is all about, but similarly to Dallas I think this will be a recovery night. 2 days til Grand Canyon, 6 days to Vegas. What is in store for us?
